# Integrations: GitHub, Linear, gateway

## GitHub

Install the emseapea GitHub App on your GitHub organization and choose the repository template governed apps start from. Provisioning creates repos from that template with short-lived installation tokens; pushes to governed repos feed each app's activity timeline (and the staleness flag).

## Linear (or Jira-class trackers)

With the Linear integration configured, every intent record creates a card in your workspace, and card state changes mirror back: completing a card approves the request, cancelling rejects it. emseapea is the system of record — a card change can never overwrite a decision already made in the product.

## Credential gateway

Credentials are issued as opaque handles through a gateway:

* **Bring your own** — support for Lunar/Kong-class MCP gateways is a deliberate seam in the product and **nothing is built for any of them yet**. There is no adapter to configure and no such gateway on offer today.
* **Use ours** — the emseapea edge gateway is a thin Worker, one per organization, with its own hostname. It validates the app's credential, enforces the per-app allow-list, forwards the call, and reports egress back.

> **Where that Worker runs, today.** The intended arrangement is that you supply Cloudflare credentials and we deploy your gateway into *your* Cloudflare account. **That is not yet what happens** — the gateway, and the Cloudflare R2 file store beside it, are created in a Cloudflare account emseapea controls, and there is nowhere in the product to enter your own. Your vendor secrets are still Worker secrets rather than rows in emseapea's database, but the Worker holding them is ours, so corporate data does currently transit infrastructure we operate.
