# Decommissioning and audit export

## Decommission

One click on the app detail page: active credentials are revoked at the gateway, the deploy target is torn down, and the app and its intent reach the terminal `decommissioned` state. The full history — who built it, what it accessed, every deploy and scan — remains queryable forever.

Use it when an owner leaves, an experiment ends, or a stale app has no owner willing to claim it.

## Audit log and export

The audit log is the org-scoped stream of every state change: who, what, when — including every MCP tool call and every gateway egress. It is not a separate bookkeeping system; it *is* the event log the product runs on, which is why it cannot drift from reality.

Export as JSON or CSV from the Audit page. The file is named after your organization and contains the complete event trail.
